I am delighted that you have found your way to us. My name is Maike and I am the founder of The Honeycomb. I have always had a passion for weddings and events of all kinds.
That’s why I started the wedding blog Weddicted Feelings with a friend in 2016, which gave me my first taste of the wedding industry. However, from the very beginning, I didn’t just want to write articles for the wedding blog, I also wanted to work as a service provider in this industry myself. Now, for several years, I have been planning and decorating wonderful weddings and even working abroad for my bridal couples. In addition, our honey pasture has created a creative, idyllic place that we are continuing to expand.
Organizing and decorating events has always been my passion. Thanks to my business background and professional experience in the real estate industry, I have the expertise to create presentations, work through to-do lists in a structured manner, obtain, review, and negotiate quotes, and calculate and keep track of costs. But one thing is essential: creativity. Only with creativity can we create special, extraordinary events that reflect who you are. I make sure that the honey thread [a modified form of “red thread”] runs through every little detail.
How do my friends and family describe me? They all gave similar answers—determined, organized, and reliable—and it is with these very qualities that I will actively support you on your wedding day!

How did I come up with the name The Honeycomb? I love bees and think they are a very hard-working species. Every bee has its own task to ensure that everything in the hive runs smoothly—so that the honeycombs are filled with honey. I too want to work hard to make your wishes come true.
